The Pastizzi Project by Kane Cali Studio is a satirical take on the most commonplace, vernacular form of food associated with Maltese culture.
“Humorous satire forms the base of what I’m doing with the Pastizzi Project. building a simple narrative from the everyday and mundane, a considerable object we all know, one that is understood by all the country, possibly one that helps to describe it too,”, says Kane Cali. For this project, the studio was tasked with establishing a brand identity for the pastizzi project and a logotype that would be used on packaging and various marketing materials.
